SIRIUS Aftermarket Installation Help? - BMW Forum

Hi,

I have a 2006 E60 525xi. I have a SIRIUS ST2 (Starmate Replay). How do I go about installing this? How do I wire it up? Will it void the warranty?

the Starmate Replay is a portable unit... all u have to do is run the antenna to the trunk... thats one little wire that u tuck outer the door trim... but where u goin to mount the unit... because u just have to tap one wire into a positive wire and the other just ground it to the fram or a ground wire.... 12+ constant is red the and accessory is purple... its better to connect to the purple one so when u turn off the car the starmate truns off too.. let me kno where u mount it because the color of the wires might be different... hope it helps... p.s. i have installed a sporter in my e39 and it works
