Short Shifter

i have a 5-speed 528i 98'...has anyone cut there shifter down? and how much did you cut off?

why would you cut your shifter down?
just buy a short shifter from ebay, it will definitely make it easier and faster to shift without you being homo and cutting your shifter down

Erm... after reading a few reviews of short shift kits most people say that they don't really make a great deal of difference.

Also I fail to see the connection between cutting down your gearstick and being gay!

you have to buy a kit... you cant just cut down the shifter. You might be able to a shifter from a different BMW Model to shorten the throw

ahh comon, hippos can't be gay! but it's much smarter to go ahead and get a short shifter.
