Seats and adjustable Steering Wheel broken

My driver seat and electric adjustable steering wheel arent working.

took a look at the fuse, seemed fine but changed it anyway with one of the spares... Nothing.

Any ideas?

Car is a '99 528i btw.

on the drivers seat switch often times the plastic panel it is housed in comes loose or breaks. As a result the connector comes loose or gets broken from the switch. this is the 1st thing I would check.

I don't have that prob but my drivers side headrest won't go up or down ?????

if you can hear the motor run but the headrest doesnt move then you probably have a stretched drive cable. if thats the case you can either replace the cable or repair it.
Follow this link if you decide to repair. This shows the bottom portion of the seat but the headrest is done the same way. Remove the seatback to find the headrest cable.

theres several methods there. I personally prefer the one showed under the "twisted seat fix" where you heat up the cable using a small butane torch.
