Seat Problems - BMW Forum

i have an e34 525i and the power seats work forward and back and tilt but when i go to lean the backs only one side will lean, same side, on both seats, so when i lean back i lean to the left as does the passenger. anyone else ever have this problem, any way to remedy this?

That is a common problem with the E34's.
You probably need to replace the cable inside the seat back.
Lift off the seat back cover and take a look, one side of the cable is either snapped or not working...

DITTO yeah what he said. the cables are kinda a pain to replace from what i remember too.
