Rubber Seal Around Windshield Cracking

I notice on my 1997 528i the the rubber seal that goes around the front windshield is starting to crack and in some places missing. Do they sell a replacement for something like this? I spoke it someone who I thought new about glass and he said that you must remove the whole windshield. Any Ideas? Thanks in advanvce guys.

yep that is what dealers usually say and sometimes the winshields will break...see how this guy got away with it
