I have a 1990 525i that idles rough for about two minutes then evens out. the check engine light comes on and off, but when I give it gas it goes off. Someone told me that it was a sensor near the thermostat, it loss power today as I was going home. But when I cut it off and then cranked it back on it started fine. Can anyone help.
