Hey all, I think i may have an issue with the rod bearings on my e34 M50. My question is, whats involved in the replacement? How much labor/parts am I looking at?

To do it the right way, the engine must be removed and completely disassembled. Everything needs to go to the machine shop, machined, clearanced and reassembled correctly. The whole bottom end should be completely refreshed. While you're at it I would recondition the cylinder head also.
