Has anyone replaced the steering wheel lock housing? The part inside this housing that runs between the ignition cylinder and ignition switch broke and this is what I was told had to be replaced--you can't just replace the small part, it has to be a major operation--of course!! I took the air bag and steering wheel off already and am trying to figure out how to remove the old housing from the steering column. There are two bolts? pins? don't know which, that need to come out and there is no slot for a screw driver and no hex head on them. The new part looks like two bolts go in there because it is threaded but I have no idea if they are bolts to begin with in the old one. Can anyone help me here? I am stuck!! I don't want to do anything that can't be fixed if I need to take it somewhere to get it finished!!
