Question Red Battery Indicator On
The battery died on my 2001 BMW 530i so I replaced it over the weekend.
Car seems to be running / starting with no issues but the red battery indicator light on the dash stays on.

Any thoughts on why I would be seeing this? I had the car since 2001 replaced it once with no issues / so this one has me puzzled.

So a new alternator took care of the red battery indicator / ran great for two days now the check engine light on. The saga continues

Engine check is a different issue... What alternator does it have? The one with or without the coolant pump?

So put a meter on the car to read the Check Engine code - saying Cam Shaft Sensor error???
