Minardi is an unknown quantity at this point
When I first bought my car I was told by the dealer that there were intermittent problems with the rear windows. So for the few months I have owned the car so far I haven't used the rear power windows, just to air on the side of caution. Today when I was leaving work I accidently hit the switch out of haste (instead of hitting the front window switch.) Now I can't seem to get the window back up, at least with the switch. Sometimes the motor will make some noise, but no motion from the window. It also seems like it has come off of its tracks a little bit (it is somewhat sideways in its current position.) Is there anything I can try to do to fix this on my own, or should just take it in a BMW shop in the morning?

Thanks.
Mike

I just pulled the door panel and got it back on its track and disconnected the switch.

Its permanently up now.

That is a common problem with the E28. Easy fix. Make sure you disconnect the rear switch in the door too!
