| I have a S reg 523i with a rather stange electric fault.
First indication of fault was that the Airbag warning light either comes on when driving or flickers. I thought that the problem was with the air bag and after lokking at the hand book decided to get it checked at the next service.
Hover today I stumbled across something realy stange. When the Airbag warning light is or fllickering, if I pull down either sun visor and open the mirror causing the vanity lights to go on, they do not, the warning light goes out and the radio and clock stops. On closing the mirror the warning light returns and aftre some 30 seconds the radio cmes back into life.
Do I need to diconnect the battery for a bit a hope this resets something, or have anyone of you got the possible solution to my problem
