Unhappy Question about automatic transmission oil

1.Question

Hi i wonder if there`s a differense in automatic oil to put in the tranny and that you can see it on a sticker under the tranny, And if theres a color code for it. beacause everytime i try to reassure myself of that ive put on the right type of AT oil and call the bmw dealer they sey that they need to know witch color is on the sticker, but witch sticker do they mean iv`e been under there several times but can not find any sticker, do they mean the plate with the serialnumber and type, and in that case What kind of oil do they use for each different color, beacause when i call them and ask for the repair yard, they say that i need too talk to the people at share stock, and so it goes around and around, ive talked to 2 different BMW repair yards

2.Question

when i have drivven for a while and have to stop at an signal or someting like that, the warning light with the gears exclamation point inside turns on, and it is stuck in 3d gear. i have 5gear AT without a oil dip stick in the engine bay.
ive repaced the oil that was in the tranny 3liters and replaced the oil with : Castrol Dextron 3, bacause thats what they said when i bougth the gasket and filter. the oil that was innside the tranny had sepperated it self it vas light brovn att the top and att the bottom it was all muddy and the magnets was all covered in magnetic ressidue.and after i have drivven for a while and have to stop at an signal or someting like that, the warning light with the gears exclamation point inside turns on, and it is stuck in 3d gear. i have 5gear AT without a oil dip stick in the engine bay.
