I was driving home from work, 1 mile drive, and when i stopped the car at home and turned it off there was a beep and it said Coolant-check manual on my dash. So i looked at the manual and popped the hood and to my suprise i could not find where the coolant was being held! can anyone tell me where it is? Also i saw there was some type of liquid that sprayed on the fan and the brake booster. Not a lot but it was noticable, what could that be? Thanks
On the 530/540 its the cap at the top of the engine, tword the back, very center of the motor. My car has the same warning, even after topping it off. Bad sensor it appears.
First of many things I'm sure I'll be replacing =)
Warning Warning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thats your cooling system?
make sure you find the reservoir and check min and max levels add if needed with rain water... look for leaks or cracked hoses around the sprayed area when engine is warming up ...
not 100% sure but the color yellow will find most of your service points oil and coolant..............
your sensor maybe broken..
or your cap also could be loose..
Nathan..
