pollen filter

does my 1989 530 have a pollen filter reason for asking is blower working fine on all speeds it has climate control output is poor any suggestions guys car is right hand drive model not looked too far into this yet but its getting cold here in the uk in the mornings cant see where i going .cheers jimbob ghead ghead

When you pop the hood take a look towards the front of the engine by the fire wall. You should see on either side what looks like a 30mm x 30mm x 10mm black box. If you have that than you have the polen filter. Pop the two hod down clips and there you will see the filter.

You are thinking of the e39, the e34 has two black boxes, but are filled with electronics.

if you are talking abou tthe microfilter, it should have one directly behind the climate controls. If that is what you are looking for, this link might help...
