please help me

I have an 02 540I and the mechanic said it was missing on 3 and 7. He told me to change the coils which I did and for about an hour it worked and then one of then started to miss again. At first it was just ecru now and then but now it all the time. What is this?

Well because you said please....

When you swapped the coils did the misfire follow the coils, or stay at 3 and 7? Did you check the wires for fraying? Boots intact? When was the last time the plugs were changed?

try gapping the plugs

bmw's are stubborn and very picky make sure that you replace and gap the plugs properly, also check the boots on the coil packs.
