I bought this 07 525 nov 06, i have hand washed the car and have done it the same way as i did my 97 528, the wheels are pitting and the dealer said it was becouse of the way they were cleaned and they would not help, thats BS, i have cleaned them the same way i have cleaned my 97, my land rover, 944, VW, ect. they will not except that maybe these Wheels are defective.
Yeah, file a complaint. Sometimes they just hope you'll go away, but if you show them you mean business, then they'll listen to you. Cleaning wheels shouldn't cause pitting, especially not on wheels (i assume are as new as the car, right?) so new.
I got a service manager on the phone from onther dealer (other than the one i took the car to) and he agreed to take a look, he did say that the rims will pitt if they are not cleaned weekly, i never heard of that when i got the car.
I will post after that ONE ON ONE.
