Passenger Seat Inop

Hi all,

Here's the deal: I have a 1998 528i in which the passenger power seat has quit working. First, I want to tell you that I have never wrenched on the beemer but I'm fairly mechanically adept (after all I am building an airplane check my builder's log here!).

First I'd like to check the fuses but can't find the fuse box on the 528 (to be honest I didn't look that hard). I did see the handful of fuses and relays next to the battery in the trunk but I'm sure that can't be all of them.

Any and all suggestions are welcome.

If it makes a sound but does not work, it is a broken gear problem. It is an easy fix.

also check the connections under the seat sometimes the connection gets loose as you move the seat back and forth...
