Passenger headlight not working

2004 530i Passenger Low Beam Malfuntion. Please help. Dealer wanted $250 just to diagnose. Started out that the headlight would work then sometimes not. Now, not working at all on the passenger side.

Just found that it is the "hella Headlight Ignitor D2-S Xenon ulb part# WO133-1856176.......by switching driver to passenger parts. Wow, $253????!!! Found online another D2-S which looks like same part and says i fit my model for $90, but the part number is different. Think I could use the cheaper one?
