Parked Car Operations Question

I'm trying to get my '05 545 to vent the cabin using the Parked Car Operations "Vent" feature. I set the two timers for different times and activate they by checking the box above the time. I then exit the menu and confirm that the Red fan indicator under the fan speed control knob is lighted. But the car does not run the fan at the set time. I've set both timers (I cannot determine if the time I have set is 5PM or 5AM) and have not had either one work. Has anyone used this, or maybe better had this not work, and then fixed it? Any help would be appreciated, thanks...

I thought those only vented when temp was appropriate? AKA-if its above XX temp and you have your vent times set, then it will open at those times. Maybe I am just crazy.

Maybe, don't remember reading that in the manual. But, it has been really hot here in San Diego the last few days (80's and 90's) and the interior of the car is really hot after sitting in the sun for 10 hours. The only variable is time that I see.

Unless...does the system measure battery voltage and then not run the vent if the battery voltage is not high enough perhaps?

... m 740's vents no matter what at the set time... dont know much more then that on how that system works because i dont really use it...

Just to close the loop, it all seems to work fine now, once I set the time properly. Thanks for the input...
