overheating

i have a 525i lower hose is cold uper hose is hot and no heat help me

probably stuck thermostat. what are other symptoms? does it overheat only when idling, or in traffic, or is it all the time? temp go down when you rev engine?

hi
i have a 523i 1998 E39 and i have the same problem. my temp goes up after the car runs for some time and start heating. upper hose very hot and lower hose not hot at all. Kindly help

clooged radiator, and/or stuck in closed thermostat. it's one ot the other... or BOTH!
