I plan to take off the oil pan on my 95 540i tomorrow. Now that the car has passed the 100K mile mark, figured I better check the oil pump bolts that famously loosen and fall out.

A couple questions:

1) When I put in the new oil pan gasket (BMW #11 13 1 436 324) is there anything Im supposed to coat it with? Or do I put it on as is?

2) Which color Loctite should I put on the oil pump bolts to lock them in? Is blue ok? Or should I use red?

3) To what value should I torque the bolts to?

Thanks for your help!
