yeah so a guy was telling me to buy a 3 series bmw that was a later year then keep my car. its an old 1985 528E. but the engine is far beyond a 528e. The M5 motor put in is outstanding and i love it. but i wanted to see how to put signatures in my posts so i can show off my car for the beauty i think it is. thanks for any help

M5 motor? wat year motor specs s## such and such? for the signature, what you need to do is create a colagae or a picture you already have, go to a free image hosting website that allows outside likns like cybertarp.com and upload the pic, then come here, go to sig and put [im g]imagelinkfromsite[/im g] like that except no space bar in the img

its a 1985 528E body(not sure if its canadian or us)
but they put an older M5 engine in it taht was rebuilt.
this thing had pushed out 256hp stock, but now with the upgrades and after i get my short shifter and other things put on today it will be pushin out 300+

and sporky thanks for the help with the sig, when i figure it out i'll have a pic of it, you can go to my link to at least see the body of it but i'll get an engine picture posted up soon enough.

Take it easy. Its all about constructive criticism, it was the foundation on which forums are based. If you are not willing to take suggestions from other people I don't think you are using this membership to this forum to its full extent. It is now obvious you were just begging for a compliment on your car, but honestly, I couldn't give you one. I was just being honest and if your 528 truly has an M5 engine in it...Send me the specs then you might be able to earn my respect back, until them take your lumps and get on with life.

He likes his 5, and you obviously would like him to get a 3 series....
Constructive criticism MAY be what forums are based on, but they are also formed around topics, if he was at all interested in a 3 series, he would have asked about that. There was no constructive criticism in your post about getting him to buy a 3 series, you basically told him his car is old, get a new one when he was asking about wheel locks. You were way off topic and basically knocked the guy down. I'd be upset too.
