Occasional starting problems

Every three or four days my 2002 530i will not start up. I've had it into the dealer four different times, each time they pronounce it fixed and each time the problem comes back. Usually if I leave the non-starting car alone for a few hours or overnight it will start up again. But inevitably the problem comes back. Also, has anyone heard of the door open button on the key fob changing the seat position? This happens too. All suggestions are welcome.

I'll take a look at the dealers receipt (or ask him) for what he fixed and then take it from there. You said you took there and he pronounced fixed. He must had it scanned; but what did he fix? The answer (probably on your receipt) will narrow your troubleshooting options.
