| Not so good air out put...
I have a 1990 BMW 525i with a m20 engine. The out put of the HVAC system is not all that awesome. I have to cut all the vents off except the middle two to get a good stream of A/C when it gets hot here in Savannah. The a/c is cold but I don't know if a vent in the dash is not opening or is there some sort of screen(filter) that is in the air ducting system that could be clogged? One time I heard a clunk in the dash and had really good out put from the vents and maybe its a vacuum or motor door problem and I cannot find any replacement filter for my model car because I know the a/c filter is the most commonly forgotten item to change. Thanx. By the way I have 251K so Helga is starting to get old but still runs like a champ.
