fcjoe58 n00b Join Date: Sep 2011 Car: Posts: 2 Photos:	nose while driving over bumps 1998 528i i have this noise that when i go over bumps on the road or cracks u can here like a kinda rattle noise like in something were to be loose, i notice that when you hit the brakes and you go over a small bump the noise will go away... any help with this please i hate having noise on my car! thanx

This is just an uneducated guess, but check whether the brake calipers and/or pads are loose.

Could be the rotor back-plates !!
This happened to me a short while back, one of the plates rotted away from one of the 10mm bolts and rattled... Just a thought, buddy...
