no speedometer/fuel gauge reading

speedometer and fuel gauge are not working nor are they giving me a reading on my 98' bmw 528i..what seems to be the problem?? thank u in advance

ok great, so where exactly is the fuse number for the speedometer and the fuse position or number for the fuel guage??

Late model cars have fuse boxes that make for quick inspection.

If you don't have the list, you can inspect the whole box looking for the burnt fuse as they have easily visible open tops.
