no power

i am new to this forum so any help appreciated.
i have trouble with my 535i e39, when you push it above 4k revs you loose all acceleration and it starts to misfire, you then slow down and it is misfiring all the time, turn engine off and restart and misfiring has gone until you push it above 4k revs again !!! i hav had a compression test, plugs changed, camshaft sensor changed, fuel pressure test and coil restistance checked all are ok. idling seems to be low but smooth. any ideas ghead

suggest you take it to a dealer or something B)

Was the fuel pressure test done at the higher revs? Could be the pump.
