True true, but my problem is that i barely drive 8,000 mi/ yr and i dont drive aggressively at all, so i dont see the point in buying great great tires for 600 - 800$ a set. blah...

if you can find toyo 800s in that size they are the shit. they are rated T, but they last longer than anything (highest treadwear rating in the world). just send a pm to whoever opened the topic about tires that's pinned. after 20k on our audi, you still cant tell they have been used.

Quite a few people have recommended the kumho ecsta 711 tire as well as the ecsta KH11.

A few others recommended the nankang NS-1

Can somebody tell me from experience how these tires are compared to some bigger brands?

I want a nice quiet ride (which i hear the ecsta 711 offers) but i also want some stability and assurance that the tire is safe.

Thanks!
