Hi all, first post and first BMW and im a bit of a noob so any help will be much appreciated.
Just got as stated my first BMW, a 2000 535i with 80k on the clock, fsh (phew), all mot's etc so i know miles are true, 2 owners, its last service was @ 78k 1 year ago and its spotless and drive awesome, the g/f calls it "the tank" lol.
Anyway what im after is being as its new (2 days) to me but seems to have been very well looked after what kind of maintenance should i do on it right now, by that i mean obv give it a oil change as i have no idea what oil is in it atm, anything else lightweight like an oil change do you guys think i need to do...?
Also can anyone suggest the best oil to use please, as as stated in my name i realy am a bit of a noob and being as it might only need an oil change i will probably do that myself so can anyone link a diagram or sequence of pictures as to where the oil tank plug is for me please as i have no time to trawl the net looking for them.
