6000k - yikes... they won't be as bright as OEM xenons, although they may appear to be brighter by looking at the car head on.
Eitherway, they'll be colorful and pretty.
As for the remote thing - be really careful, HID capsule's life is GREATLY reduced if they are frequently turned on and off without reaching their FULL operating temperature (which often takes 30 - 45 seconds)
I wanted 4500 originally, then the guy at umniza said that they were not blue enough, and 5000k were not in stock, so 6000k was what I got, if they aren't good I am going to return them for brighter, atleast try...
sp0rky- thanks for your insite on the possible problems with the remote kit, but the remote kit doesn't flash the xenons, it turns on the halo's only
Quad projectors are NOT advisable without serious retrofitting - projectors (unless you work on them) have a CUTOFF - you cannot have a cuttoff on your highbeams - they need to project as much light as possible
Chad's lights are not quad projectors, only the lowbeams have projectors w/ cutoff to prevent glare in the eyes of oncoming traffic
Our remote kit only flashes the Demon Eyes - which can take a beating like that.
One of my customers has them hooked up to his alarm, so they flash twice every 10 seconds... all day, every day, year round. No problems. Looks pretty cool, but I don't know if I'd want to attract that much attention to my car at night in a dark parking lot
Also, I use 6000K on all lights on my car - I guarantee they will be brighter than any halogen set-up, although they are noticeably dimmer than 4500K.
For Chad's headlight setup, it was either go 6000K or wait 2 weeks to get a 5000K set up.
Chad was very clear on the fact that he needed the headlights installed by the 30th (Happy birthday bro!), so I decided we can install 6000K (at no extra charge), and if he doesn't like them we'll swap the bulbs - easy as that

A little bit about me - since I may be a sponsor here pretty soon.
I'm an E46Fanatic turned sponsor - I used to do a lot of group buys and help the sponsors - one day I said hey... why not stock up and sell this stuff myself, and provide better service then all these big companies can?
So, I became a sponsor, founded JleviSW.com, and here I am today
I'm still an avid enthusiast myself - ask Chad how much I mod my own car
Nice to meet you all - hopefully I'll be around here more if I get set up as a sponsor
I posted a thread a while back guaging interest on this forum, but nobody really said anything

Surely those head lights look stunning on the Bimmer and please don't be a stranger to the 5 series sub. Wishing the best of luck in your sponsership. Later

Yep, my main reason in coming here would be to reach all the E36/E39/E38 guys- I have the E46 market pretty well covered
Chad (who is an hour and a half late to install his headlights : ) is going to see what kind of trial period they can work out for me... we'll have to see
I can't think of many quad projector setups.. However, whenever a projector is used as a high beam it has no cutoff - making it an IDEAL high beam assembly.
Usually there is bixenon which may or may not be what slvr has ( i didnt look at the picture ) but if that's the case, the cutoff shield electronically and QUICKLY drops, effectively turning it into a highbeam.
Projectors as high beams do not cause problems
Xenon lighting has turned into a huge hobby of mine and I constantly research and tweak mine. lol. it's fun
Either way - enjoy your lights and have many hours of fun and safe night driving. Oh and Happy Birthday whenever that may be.
