I'm one of the new guys. Although I've already posted a few questions, I thought I'd introduce myself and my ride.
Just bought a decent 92 525i Wagon for $350. It needs a couple of things, but, overall, is still pretty decent. I love the way it drives. This is my first BMW. I've attached a few pics, as I know that there is nothing that members of forums like this like more than pics of rides.

It's only in the U.S. that people seem to be unable to shift gears for themselves. Personally, I'll take a stick shift any day. They're more fun. Gets you involved with the car.
