I just bought a 1997 540i, auto, black, and I'm taking delivery of the car next week. I've driven plenty of 5's before -- my dad's, the neighbor's -- but this is the first BMW, actually the first car I've ever bought myself! So I'm excited. And these forums are great--a wealth of info. Anyway...
I have some pics of the car and I just noticed something I hadn't noticed before -- there's a pinstripe running down the side, just under the window line. I don't really want it on there. Does anyone know if these can be easily removed, and if so, how? Thanks. Pic attached, you can see the pinstripe.
