Hello everyone, I recently got my hands on a 2002 525i wagon. Automatic obviously.

And I feel like it's just lacking a little pop, wondering what are some common beginning to a performance build. I'm not looking for anything crazy, i just want to start with a few things here and there and am wondering what people have done in the past.

You could install a new air intake system, the next thing maybe a high performance muffler.
I'm not sure how the six cylinder will react to these changes. On the V8's feels aggressive!

In addition to the CAI and exhaust, you can look a getting a chip from Bavauto or the Shark Injector. Those are the easiest and most obvious. After that you can look into pulleys, throttle body, LSD's, etc.
