New 535 owner .

I couldn't pass the offer, so I bought 5speed 89 535 with 110K miles on it.
It has few problems, I hope to correct them without loosing my pants.
The biggest issue is hot re-start (even after it sat for 30-40 min)
It starts cold fine, has rough idle. Drive strong. When hot -restart, it wants to stall, hesitates but 2-3 throttle blips clear all that and it drive ok.
Also P1222 is present.
As of current I am fixing timing chain cover leak.

I always liked E34, was looking to ge one younger, but this one came along I got it.

Did you ever resolve the problem? If so, would you mind sharing what caused the hot stalling? Thanks.
