my friend's knee hit my cup holder of my 2004 530i and the button fell out and i couldnt find it since it was at night and i wanted to know how much the repairs would be and if someone can help me with step by step instructions on how to repair it myself. it is the front cup holder farthest from the driver seat.
You might need to replace the whole thing if you can't find the button. I think it basically hooks into the dash so you should be able to slide it out and replace it with the new part. The entire unit looks like it retails for $90.
