Need help finding a good aftermarket turbo - BMW Forum

Hey guys just joined the forum. I'm looking for a good aftermarket turbo for my '99 528i for hopefullly around 2 grand. Is this possible? I've been doing some google searches but haven't came up with much hopefully you guys can help. Also, how can I tell how much hp it will add if it doesnt say? Something about the psi or something i think. All help apprechiated.

If searching didn't find you much, you may be headed for a custom job. That's no small deal.

Possable... I dont think for anywhere near 2k though....You could try and find a kit made for the 328i(ODBII). It might not be a perfect fit, but I think the 2.8 in the 3 and the 5 are the same(99%sure). You might just have alittle custom fitting to do. But a do it your self , if you know of a good tuning shop would be the way to go. You'd be looking at 8500 or so, if you drop compression with a Head Gasket rather then pistons, with a TEC3, add about 1000 bucks if you wanna drop compression with lower compression pistons.
