need of assistance quick!

My mothers 92 E34 stalls immeadiately after putting it in drive or reverse unless you gun it. if you manage to get it running its fine at higher speeds, but when you slow to a stoplight it will stall. i need help diagnosing this problem quick as we cannot go without this car too long since i busted a wheel bearing on my LR discovery and thats out of commision till i fix it sometime this week.

Possibly a vacuum leak. Does the engine sounds like it's "bubbling" when you accelerate? Do you hear a whistling/whooshing sound?

IF it were a vacuum leak large enough to stall your car out you WOULD notice a wooshing sound...check E-bay I found one there, also call your local tranny shops, last resort call the dealer.
