Just purchased an e34 530 ('94). Last night, I went to start it and it wouldn't fire. Would turn over, but not fire. Had a similar issue with abn E34 535i that was correctly diagnosed as a faulty fuel pump.
Would like to know if anyone has encountered this problem with this particular model and year, and potential solutions.
new car? not a battery? when they roll off the used car lots, the batteries usually are flat from sitting, check it , next thing like you have stated it could be the fuel pump, get someone to try to start the car, and you have to get in the trunk and use a rubber mallet and give the general area of the fuel pump a few decent wacks. i encountered this a few times , last time was on a e34 m5 ,
