my new 97 528i - BMW Forum

I just got a new 97 528i with 110k and it's in great condition. There are a few things im concerned about and im sick of waiting through our local dealer. There is a buzzing noise behind the center, front AC whenever the car is off or at a complete stop. Any ideas what this is? Also, the driver side window/door sounds loose when i drive and when i hit bumps it makes annoying sounds like the door isnt shut. Any ideas? Last, i haven't figured out at what specific times it does it, but the engine will become louder than usual (the fan sounds like its blowing harder than usual) randomly. Maybe it's just trying to cool off, but im not sure. Thanks

a few details i forgot to add- the extra engine noise is during acceleration and the driver's side door noise is mainly in the window(sounds loose)

the noise you hear is in all bimmers. its the AC valves shutting off and such. no biggie

and the fan on ur engine is running when it needs to keep the engine from overheating. it activates when you accelerate cuz ur accelerating and that causes extra heat to be produced. no biggie enjoy ur car it ownz
