What's going on everybody. I'm new to this forum and want to show what I've been cooking up. This Premium Package 528i started life as a boring run of the mill car, something that you would see on the road from a day to day basis. My goal with this car was to do something that was clean but would also stand out without screaming "look at me." Originally I didn't have any plans to work on this car but things changed quickly during the summer of 2007 when I bought a new set of wheels. From that point on I haven't looked back...
FYI, for my two cents...don't bother with the big bore throttle body unless you're also going to do the M50 manifold conversion...and note, with your engine, turbo is a great option!!!

Thank you. Whoops, I forgot to add the Schrick M52 inlet manifold on the list. I was considering FI for awhile but I'm kind of on the fence about it. I started putting money aside to be able to buy an M3 one of these days but if I start making more money on the side I might be able to pull both off.

I've never heard of the Schrick part; how does it compare to the old M50 manifold?
Wow, looks like its in great shape, love the rims, where did you get? We carry some good quality parts for the 528i if you ever take on any other projects:

I was looking into the new E92 M3 although I may opt out for the E46 M3. IDK yet and when the time comes I'll make the right decision. Purpose? Well, that's actually a good question. I guess I want a car I can daily drive but still go to the track and have some fun.
What was the total cost with breif break down please...
Price breakdown...honestly I don't even know where to start. The body work alone cost me $1800 for paint not including parts. I'd say body work cost about $4,000 including the HID upgrade, headlights, M-Technic body kit, and other random bits and pieces. Suspension work was probably about $2,000 with parts and labor. Audio has been a disaster as I have redone it quite a few times. I can't even begin to think how much I have squandered away on that however my final install will be done in a few days and I will be able to come up with a pretty decent guess. I also have a bunch of parts and pieces sitting at my house and I have also sold quite a few pieces as well.
