I've had enough, the xenons just don't give enough light, problem i think, is the headlight covers are semi opaque and scattering the light too much. You can't see 50 yds in front of you at night which isn't much fun.
I can get replacement covers but at $400 each out here i'm reluctant to go that route.
I hear that hella's are good.....are they? Anyone know the costs/whereabouts of a set for LHD?
Are the outer lenses plastic? If they are oxidized, they can be compounded and restored in the same way similarly damaged paint can. After that, they can be protected with car wax.
yep, i've had them done once already, apparently the Lambo's here have the same problem.....but all they did was clear coat varnish on top of the sand damaged plastic... looked better but didn't make any real difference....i need something like canopy cleaner that they used to use on cockpit canopys... and 4 hours with a sheepskin buffer each maybe.... any products that work appreciated..harry
