I bought the cupholder on ebay for $18. I bought some velcro tape ($4) and crated a 7'X3' rectangle on the lower driver side door. The reason I made this area bigger than needed was so that if my wife were driving the car, she could move the cup holder forward (since she has to move the seat forward to sit comfortably).
According to the manufacturer of the velcro tape, every square inch can hold up to 1lb. I think it’s got me covered for my small DD coffee in the morning
I hope this helped some people out there that NEED a cupholder for their morning commute, long trips, etc.

Yea, but the cup is usually empty by the time the door opens
