540Iam is an unknown quantity at this point
My 540I has stock exhaust and muffler. I'm looking for a company that makes a nice throaty sounding muffler something like a ferrari. I'm not looking for something that sounds like a gangsters acura, but something with a deep throaty sound. The 4.4 is stifled by the stock muffler but there is a lot of potential for some great sound. Any help?

check out BB Tri-Flo exhaust....

You have a very powerfull and beautifull car...... The BB exhaust will make your car sound how it should.... The sound is VERY deep and you will love it..

the supersprint exhaust as mentioned before is a QUITE exhuast... It gives performance gains and "looks" but is QUITE

Another DEEP sounding exhaust is the Eisenmann exhaust

FYI, my supersprint made very little difference in the sound. Not really any deeper sounding. It might be different for a 540?
