MKII vs MKIII Upgrade

I have 03/2000 E39 M5-US. It came stock with 4:3 screen, MKII-NAVI, C43-Radio, DSP-Sound & 6-CD Changer. Years ago I changed to 16:9 screen, but keep everything else the same.

Today I changed MKII NAVI to MKIII NAVI. The MKIII came out of 2002 E39 that had BM53 radio and it was without DSP sound (not sure what model, but probably not M5, Maybe 530 or 540).

Is there a reason why now I do not see radio station name and song playing. That feature worked with my old MKII.

Also with MKII, when in radio/cd/tape mode, most of the screen had other displayed such as: MPGs, miles left on tank, time left on tank, but with the MK III when in radio/cd/tape mode, its displayed radio station number (105.9 FM) or cd number (depending what's playing) on the top and the rest of the screen is just dark blue. Is that because I'm still running the C43 Radio?
