Ok, here's the master plan, in chronological order.

Right now:
525i, stock, 140K on the odo.

The plan

Headunit 200
Cold Air Intake 80
Angel Eyes 280
Front Sway Bar 200
Rear Sway Bar 200
Chip 120-150
M3 Hyper Rims ???
DashPC (www.dashpc.com) $400 (only need the screen)

(the following is around a year from now)
M5 Engine Swap $3000
M5 Aero Kit $1000

What do you think?

sounds good. just think about how long you are going to keep the car before you do any of the things that run over 1K.

good luck.

The body, and the interior are IMMACULATE, the engine has high miles, its a 93, so I figure, plenty of life left in it... I just tossed 800 bucks into new front struts, as they were gone. But otherwise, it looks like a beautiful car, and, I hope to keep it for around the same length of time as my 6 series, (two years older than me, only owner)

Well, sounds good...

Just something to think about though - If its not a stick, the m5 engine might not mount up, or itll tear the auto up if it does. You'll also have to change out the diff, because it'll tear that apart as well.

Shit, I figured on a transmission swap to a manual...but now i'm wondering how much the differential will cost me...

To the batcave! or to find a cheaper m5 lying around here!
