m60 to m62

I'm sure this has been asked before but how much trouble is it to put an m62 from an e39 into an e34 with the m60?

coolvegase34 is an unknown quantity at this point
Why go from an m60 to an m62. You aren't really gaining any hp that would be worth the swap.

If you swap in a 98on m62, you get 30lb.ft extra, plus has been proven time and again that m62s were pretty underrated as far as hp figures from the factory. many cars put down 260-270 at the wheels.

Would it be worth to swap one just for the hell of it? Hell no. But if yours died, yes it would be.

How hard is it? I think it's fairly straight forward. I don't exactly know what the wiring differences are and how hard it is to get that done, but as far as the engine itself, they are pretty much exactly the same, so it should bolt up without too much issue.
