Hey my brother in law is selling his 2003 BMW M3 with the factory M3 rims that look like the M5 rims. They are 18 inch will they fit my 1999 528i? He bought aftermarket rims for his M3 and is selling it with theose rims so the M3 rims are mine for free.

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm 95% sure that E46 and E39 wheels aren't compatible.

Anyone who ever buys used cars online, anyone even THINKING of starting a "Is this deal too good to be true?" thread, anyone who wants to be more educated about protecting themselves must read this.

They will fit with wheel spacers of about 20mm , sometimes thicker. I personally wouldnt put a spacer that large on my car, as many people would agree... its just asking to bring in unwanted vibrations, and it also requires longer lugs.

Its better in the long run just to buy wheels with the proper offset.

Ok maybe I'll take them and sell them on e-bay to finance the correct rims.
