hmmmm.... sure.... just a moment.
heres a pic before it was lowered:

heres after she was lowered:

Theres my beast. 1990 525i lowered with H&R sport springs + bilstein shocks. Lowered 1.6" (left out spring pads upper and lower - have issues with this) 17" Mak rims and Fuzion ZRi tires. Rides great.

Is there any specific reason you want eibach springs?
The H&Rs are a good bit firmer, which generally should make them better performers.
A little bit of info, though -
You sound like you want to stay on the cheaper side. You should really get new shocks when you do this, It could also cause a bounce that is unwanted becasue the springs are so firm and theres nothing to control them. They'll "boing" the car back up pretty easily vs. stock. A good stiff sport shock should be used. Unless you don't care about ride, tire wear, performance, etc.

As for as looks go, thought - the Eibachs will drop lower than the H&Rs buy a little bit even though the specs say they are the same drop. Maybe because they are softer? I'm not sure, but that's usually the case.

Funny thing is in either case, your rear end will actually RAISE if your stock suspension is shot. (funny, but true... I was confused as to why it looked higher in the rear).

thanks for reply, i will replace shoks w/ bilstein touring, dont want a real harsh ride, and u saythe H&r will lower it less than eibachs?

Yep, by about 1/4 inch. Sounds negligable, but its noticeable.

Bilstein tourings are OK, but the thing is they aren't made for lowered applications so it may cause premature failure and if Bilstein were to open them up and see that they were used on a lowered car, the lifetime warranty is void.

I also know from experience that the touring shocks will leave a little boaty-bounce in your ride because they do not have enough rebound control for a spring so stiff as H&R and eibach.

If you want a good ride and a lowered car that performs and funcitons as it should, you have to shell out the cash for Koni Adjustable shocks which will run 500 - 700 alone. This is a car, theres ALWAYS expenses / trade offs to getting things done properly.
