lots of water

I have a ton of water in the carpet in the back floor both sides of my 2003 525i. I always have the a/c on. Could the water be coming from the air ducts from under the seats. Whats the scoop?

Nah, more like rear window seal, door seals, or could be sun roof if you have one? take the lower part of the back seat out to see if you have it there too!

Thanx, I'll take a look. Took a long ride last Sat. night in the monsoon we were having in the Northeast. Then around Thurs. noticed a strange smell. discovered rug and doormats soaked. Water poured off them, had to use a shop vac to get the rest. Bobby

I would say that on your comments (monsoon) you must have a seal leaking.

Trunk is dry, front rugs are dry both sides. could be the sunroof (always hated them) (Won't ever put one on the roof of the house thats for sure).

Sounds like the sunroof then, they have drain holes at the front ( open it up it may stiil have water in the channels if so thats it!), make sure they are clear, best thing to do is, if you have a pressure washer, sit somebody in it and blast it at all suspect areas
