Hey guys Im brand new to this thread! Im looking to buy my first Bimmer 540i. Heard a lot of good things about it. What do you guys say? I also hear that the 740i is really nice, people telling me to consider buying on of those. I personaly like both the 740i is bigger inside and more roomy, 540i is smaller but faster. But i dont really care for the space. But what do you guys recomend?
Don't mind Prince Charming, forums need people and questions. The seven is a bit big in my opinion, I think you will enjoy a 540 more. Go steady shes a beast!!!

I have a 740iL, and it is a big car, but it is a nice ride and has every bell and whistle (for the era). If you are considering one of these look for the M62TU engine 99 - 2001 (double vanos equipped) as it is a little more fuel efficient.
Check it over properly (as you should do anyway) and check as much of the electronic functionality as you can. For a big car, these things get up and motor, but they should have been fitted with an LSD (in my opinion)
